No. Reader is designed so you can work with XBRL/iXBRL filings using standard Excel skills. You select reporting concepts, sections, or tables and insert them into your workbook.

iXBRL and XBRL filings for US GAAP (SEC) and ESEF/IFRS, as well as many other iXBRL and classic XBRL reports. For links to the major public XBRL filing portals worldwide, please see our overview page. Portals shown in blue have been tested with anuboXBRL. We are working to provide detailed file-access instructions for these portals in our User Guide, and you are welcome to help us improve these instructions for the anubo user community. If you’re unsure, simply test the XBRL ZIP in the free anuboXBRL Reader.

Yes. Reader is free to use. A one-time registration is required so we can manage access and provide a private cloud for your XBRL reports.
